He started his career in financial services in 1982 working as an Account Manager for Aviva.
Then, having qualified in Business Studies, he joined The Cooperative Bank working as an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). During his 17 years at the Bank he held a number of management roles before being appointed Sales & Marketing Director for the independent financial services subsidiary. During this time he was responsible for the business being awarded a National Training Award and voted “Best IFA” in the Consumer Finance Awards.
In 2005 he joined a private equity backed financial services group, as Operations Director and then Managing Director, to run their UK business and oversee their European marketing activities.
He then joined St. James’s Place Wealth Management and operated in a business consultancy role.
The results of his work have been published in both “HR Matters” and “The International Review of Consumer Behaviour”.
In 2008 he started up his own wealth management business, convinced that individuals & businesses need the support of qualified & experienced professionals to help manage their financial affairs. Through a focus on building lifetime relationships with clients and developing a trusting relationship this business has gone from strength to strength.
